Learning in Prep curriculum

At Yarrilee State School, we believe that you, the student’s parents, are a most important link in the educational chain. Together we can make your student’s experiences at Prep and at school exciting, rewarding and memorable. Education is a very human process. When parents, caregivers, student and teachers work together the learning process is most successful.

Students bring to school a wide range of experiences, abilities, needs and interests. They have a natural curiosity about their world. Their desire to make sense of the world provides a platform to plan and review their learning through interactions with others, experimentation, scaffolding, explicit teaching, practice and play in the classroom and beyond.
