Learning Groups are the setting for each student’s academic learning and have been constructed in year level.
Fruit Break: A piece of fresh fruit is to be eaten each day during the first session of the day. Students are also encouraged to bring a water bottle into class.
School Uniforms: We are proud of our school uniform. Middle students are learning to be the role models for the school and should try to follow the uniform policy. A copy of this policy can be found on the Home Page of the school website. This uniform includes a sun smart hat and very limited use of jewelry. Students are required to bring their hat to school every day so they can participate in class activities.
Homework / School Items: Students are required to use their Yarrilee Library Bag for homework and library book loans. They need to bring their Yarrilee pack to school every day. A new bag can be purchased from the office.
Middle school students are required to bring a clearly named calculator to school.
Each Middle student is also required to have a minimum 1Gb data or memory stick. This can also be transferred for use in senior school. This data stick is a safe way for your child to save, view and transport computer work between various school computers and the home computer. It is suggested that this data stick has lanyard and is clearly named. If you are unsure of any of these items please see your student’s teacher.
